Hi! I am Ellora.
I came to this work through a long-standing interest in helping people understand themselves more deeply so they can live healthier, more fulfilling lives. Through my own creative and therapeutic journey — including training in Kathak, creative writing, and personal therapy — I learned that art and creativity are not just forms of expression, but powerful ways of knowing ourselves, processing emotion, and making meaning.
This led me to pursue a Master’s in Creative Arts Therapy at Concordia University, where I trained in evidence-based approaches that integrate creativity, metaphor, narrative, movement, and embodied awareness into psychotherapy. In my work with clients, these elements often appear subtly, through imagery, reflection, story, or noticing what resonates, to help uncover deeper truths, gain perspective, and move through emotional experiences that words alone cannot always reach.
For the part four years I have support several individuals across the lifespan in working with their anxiety, grief, ADHD and self-worth.I see therapy as deep, relational work. Many people understand their struggles intellectually and still feel stuck. Together, we slow things down and explore what emotions, symptoms, or patterns are trying to communicate. Rather than “fixing” anxiety or pushing discomfort away, we work toward understanding it, developing a relationship with it, and letting that understanding guide meaningful change. While we do the deeper, more relational work to understand your inner world, I also offer practical strategies to help you reflect and regulate outside our sessions.
I offer a steady, compassionate presence — someone who is genuinely in your corner who wants the best for you. I aim to create a space where you can show up as you are, without judgment, while also gently inviting you to notice patterns, boundaries, and possibilities for growth.
“Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life and you will call it fate.”
